Explorer II Sport ESC
No Longer Available
Additional Product Note(s):
6-7 cell 16 turn motor limit recommended
Extended Product Information:
The most notable new feature in the Explorer II speed control is the introduction of One-Touch Set-Up and the absence of an adjustment pot. Now setting up is as easy as it sounds. Simply press the One-Touch button and you can easily and quickly adjust the speed control to the transmitter.
For those adventurous souls venturing into the R/C world for the first time, or for those who are considering upgrading from a mechanical speed control, the Explorer II is the perfect choice. This extremely user-friendly speed control will make your transition smooth, easy and fun!
Talk about smooth...the Explorer II now has 512 discrete steps (256 forward and 256 brakes). What does this mean to you? Well, most sport or entry-level ESCs have 64 steps. So, with 512 steps, you'll have an incredibly smooth trigger response.
Factory-installed motor and battery plugs are also a convenient feature. Forget about the hassle and headache of looking for and trying to install the right connectors because it's already done. Just plug in and you're ready-to-go.
New features to look forward to include Radio Priority Circuitry, so you'll still have control over your car even after the batteries have discharged, and Digital Anti-Glitch Circuitry, which rejects signals read by the speed control from the receiver that are caused by radio interference.
Original Explorer features you'll still have include Polar Drive Technology, Solid State Reverse Voltage Protection, Thermal Overload Protection and Brake Light Circuitry.
